I am a single mother with 2 boys, 9 and 12. I was employed in the mortgage industry for 12 years as an underwriter and as of 2 years ago I lost my job and all prospects of another one in the real estate field. My exhusband is ordered to pay child support but is $197,000 in arrears and works under the table so he does not have to pay to help support the boys. I used my 401K and unemployment to start a process serving company thinking that would put me back on my feet but I do not get enough work to cover the bills and now the money is gone and so is unemployment for a year now. My credit is terrible from the last 2 years not being able to cover the bills on unemployment and the papers that I do serve so I can not get a loan and I have no assets. My car payment is 2 months behind, and I need that to work. My kids go back to school tomorrow and I do not have money to buy them new shoes or uniforms. My phone is about to get shut off and rent is due. I have tried to get assistance from the local authorities but they do not have funds to help. My light bill is 2 months late and is $451, it's going to get shut off next week. I give blood to get food to feed my kids and put gas in my car so I can work, but all of this is coming to an end because I can't keep up everything I'm doing to keep food on the table. If I don't come up with rent, 2 months truck payment, 2 months light bill, phone bill and some money for my kids school supplies, uniforms and shoes, I'm afraid we will lose everything and be homeless. Please help, I can give you shoe and clothes sizes and supplies list for the boys if you want to send those things instead of money.
